Spicy Pumpkin Butter
Ingredients
- 1/4 c Dark brown sugar, packed (use 1/8 c if using pie mix)
- 2 tb Sugar
- 1/4 c Water
- 1/2 ts Allspice (omit if using pie mix)
- 1/4 ts Ginger (omit if using pie mix)
- 1/4 ts Cloves (omit if using pie mix)
- 1/4 ts Nutmeg (omit if using pie mix)
- 1/2 ts Cinnamon (omit if using pie mix)
- 1 15oz. can Farmer’s Market organic pumpkin or pumpkin pie mix
Directions
Combine the two sugars, water, allspice, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon in a 4-cup glass measure. Mix well on high 3 minutes; stir. Add pumpkin and mix well on high 5 minutes. Let cool and refrigerate. Keeps several weeks in refrigerator or can be frozen.
