Cream Of Sweet-Potato Soup
Ingredients
- 2 15oz cans Farmer’s Market organic sweet potatoes
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable boullion
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- salt to taste
- 1 1/2 cups light cream -- half-and-half or milk
Directions
Put sweet potato puree, boullion and remaining ingredients in a large pot. Cover and cook on high for 1 to 2 hours. Serve hot or chilled with a dollop of sour cream if desired.
